Genesis Solutions LLC ("Genesis Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information when you visit our website at genesisit.net (the "Site") or contact us through it.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
When you fill out our contact form or schedule a call with us, you provide:
- Name
- Work email address
- Company or MSP name
- Service of interest (selected from a dropdown)
- The contents of any message you send
When you schedule a call through our booking provider (Cal.com), you may also provide a meeting time, time zone, and any details you enter into their form.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) automatically receives standard server-log information, including:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages requested and timestamps
- Referring URL
This information is used for security, abuse prevention, and operational monitoring of the Site.
We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate usage of the Site — which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, and how the Site is performing. GA4 collects:
- Truncated/anonymized IP address (Google does not store full IPs in GA4)
- Device type, browser, operating system, and screen resolution
- Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and click events
- Referring URL and traffic source
- A pseudonymous client identifier stored in a first-party cookie
GA4 data is retained by Google for up to 14 months. We use it only in aggregate to understand and improve the Site; we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it. Google's analytics privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of GA4 by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
1.3 Cookies
The Site uses:
- Technical cookies set by Cloudflare to operate and secure the Site
- Google Analytics 4 cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) to enable the aggregate usage analytics described in Section 1.2. These are first-party cookies on the genesisit.net domain.
We do not currently use marketing, advertising, or behavioral retargeting cookies. If this changes, we will update this Policy and present a cookie notice before non-essential cookies are set.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested information
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls and assessments
- Send transactional communications related to engagements you initiate
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
3. Service providers
We use the following service providers to operate the Site and our business. Each is bound by its own privacy practices, linked below:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Google (Google Analytics 4) — aggregate Site usage analytics, as described in Section 1.2. See policies.google.com/privacy
- Cal.com — scheduling and booking. See cal.com/privacy
- Our business email provider — receipt and storage of email correspondence, in accordance with that provider's privacy practices.
We may add other service providers (for example, a newsletter platform) in the future. When we do, we will update this Policy.
4. Disclosure of information
We do not disclose personal information except:
- To service providers acting on our behalf (see Section 3), under terms requiring confidentiality
- When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request
- To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others
- In connection with a business transaction (such as a merger or acquisition), with notice to you
5. Data retention
We retain information you submit through the contact form for as long as needed to respond and, where an engagement results, to maintain client records. Inquiries that do not result in an engagement are typically retained for 18 months and then deleted.
Server log data is retained by Cloudflare in accordance with its policies.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information we hold about you, including the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of your information in portable form
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
To exercise these rights, email us at info@genesisit.net. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days).
6.1 California residents
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described above under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
6.2 EU/UK/EEA residents
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR apply. Our lawful bases for processing are: (a) consent (e.g., contact form submission); (b) performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (e.g., scheduling a discovery call); (c) legitimate interests (e.g., security, operating the Site). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls on email and storage accounts, and infrastructure security provided by Cloudflare. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at info@genesisit.net and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Genesis Solutions is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to such transfer.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Material changes will be posted to this page with reasonable advance notice.
